Christmas potluck with EAA!
It’s time for our most appreciated event of the year – the Christmas potluck (Julbord)! Everyone attending the event will bring Christmas food or sweets from their own home country and share with the others. If you plan to attend the event, please comment down below so we know what everyone will bring! Please try to not bring the same things. We encourage people to make food together the day before, but please make sure to bring enough for everyone!
The board of EAA will bring Christmas ham, ginger bread, boiled potatoes, julmust and glögg, so you don’t have to bring these to the event.
See you in U1 at 15:15 on December 11th!
p.s. there will be a surprise you don’t want to miss!
Logo designing contest for Asienkunskap
This year it’s Asienkunskap (Asian Studies China/Japan) 10 year anniversary. The EAA wants a new logo for this programme and we ask you to help us out! It should be something that represents both China and Japan, but it’s a bonus if you can include South Korea or East Asia in general. Be creative!
The winning logo will be re-drawn digitally if it’s not already, so no digital drawing skills will be required. Any medium is fine as long as it can be sent to us, either by email or by handing it in during Conversation Corner.
The logo will be printed on patches and flyers and will be visible whenever Asian Studies is mentioned. The contest is open for everyone.
The winner will receive:
1 ticket for our spring dinner party
3 patches with the logo
Send your logo to email@example.com. Deadline is on February 1st 2017!
Below is the schedule for next week, please note that we have made P44 (C-building) our main classroom for CC. To stay up to date in case of sudden changes to the CC schedule, please visit and like our Facebook page.
